What is Medicare Advantage?

They’re run by Medicare-approved, private insurance companies; They include all the benefits and services covered under Part A and Part B; They sometimes cover extra benefits and services for an extra cost; They usually include Medicare prescription drug coverage (Part D).

Does Medicare cover hearing aids?

Part A and Part B do not cover routine hearing tests or hearing aids, but some Medicare Advantage plans (Part C) do offer the benefit. If this coverage is something you’re interested in, you’ll need to shop for a Medicare Advantage plan that offers the benefit.

Does Medicare cover COVID vaccines?

Medicare covers vaccines that have been authorized by the FDA. Vaccines approved or authorized by the FDA are the following: Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech.

You always have the right to have a trusted friend or family member present while you’re discussing your health coverage needs with Medicare, your state’s Medicare SHIP, or with an agent or broker.
